Until now, there have been no Ca2+ indicators that emit in the near-IR wavelength range. TEFLabs has created a near-IR Ca2+ indicator, Asante Calcium NearIR (ACnIR). ACnIR is a nonratiometric indicator with excitation maximum at 630 nm and fluorescence emission peaking at 690 nm.
Cellular experiments will be posted as they become available. This product is currently still in development and testing.
