Fluo-2 MA is an ideal indicator for HTS and other calcium applications because of its easy loading, bright response, and lower cost compared to Fluo-3 and Fluo-4.
Fluo-2 MA (U.S. Patent No. 5,049,673) is the same molecule as Fluo-8.

Leakage Resistant (LeakRes)
These modified indicators are retained in the cell for hours, with little to no change in the properties of their parent compounds. Numerous publications have emanated since their inception in 1994.

TEFLabs’ new fluorescent sodium ion indicator dye, Asante NaTRIUM Green, provides a usable Kd, visible wavelength response to sodium ions. With an excitation maximum near the 488 nm argon laser line Asante Natrium shows a nearly five- fold increase in green emission upon saturating with sodium.
