TEFLabs Indicator Dyes - Empowering Research

TEFLabs provides a wide functional range of fluorescent ion indicators in K+ salt and AM versions for Calcium, Sodium, Magnesium, Potassium, and other ions.

Fluo-2 MA- Brighter, Faster, Cheaper. Fluo-2 is designed as a direct replacement for Fluo-3 and Fluo-4 with easier loading and brighter response, Fluo-2 MA is the same molecule as Fluo-8.

Asante Calcium Red- Two excitation-dependent modes: emission ratiometric (excitation at 488 nm, emission at 525 and 650 nm) and non-ratiometric (excitation 540 nm, emission at 650 nm). Quantifiable results in ratiometric mode, purely red emission in non-ratiometric mode. Strong fluorescence enhancement upon binding calcium at 650 nm. More than twice as bright as Fura-Red.

Asante Natrium - With an effective Kd of 7 mM, Asante Natrium will offer users the ability to expand into sodium research and screening. Samples will be available for testing mid-May.

For calcium ions, we offer the standard high affinity versions as well as low affinity, leakage resistant, and near-membrane applications of

  • UV ratiometric dyes (Fura-2 and Indo-1)
  • Long wavelength non-ratiometric dyes (Fluo-2)
  • our new visible ratiometric dyes (Asante Calcium Red)
